Gallery

The main gallery is housed on the first floor with an adjacent bookstore called "The African Bookshelf & Gift Shop". Included in this art collection of over 300 pieces are sculptures, drawings and original prints designed by Ed Parker. One of Parker's achievements was the Urban Victor Series, in which 100,000 prints were made. A Cuyahoga Community College investment.

Some of the noted pieces are of the famed sculpture of:

1) "Chicken George" played by Ben Vereen
2) A bronze statue of Michael Jackson - "This is it"
3) 44th President of the United States, Barack H. Obama
4) Daughter of the Sun - a magnificent bronze sculpture
5) 1st place winner - "Stove Pipe the Master Clown"
Given by the Hammermill Papers inking contest - 3,000 entries
6) Life size bust of Malcolm X
7) The Barefoot Prophet who walked from Kansas City to New York prophesying
